This means we never spray our lavender plants with pesticides or insecticides. This helps in a number of ways: It ensures that our plants grow the way nature intended - resulting in the purest essential oil possible. The naturally occurring insects - like our bee helpers - play a role in signaling to us when it’s the optimal time to harvest and distill our lavender - When the bees leave it means that the purple buds of our lavender plants have reached peak dryness, and the essential oils contained within them are at their highest concentrations.
