When I reached out to @UpliftDesk about a collaboration, I was clear from the start that I
wanted to specifically talk about the accessibility pros of a standing desk for people with chronic back pain and ambulatory wheelchair users! And they were ALL FOR IT! 😀
As comfortable and safe as my wheelchair is, I NEED to get pressure off my butt to reduce the chances of pressure sores. 😩
Believe it or not, a lot of people you may expect to use wheelchairs ALL THE TIME….
actually need to stand up and relieve some pressure on occasion.
As someone who works from home in my wheelchair, my back is in so much pain if I don’t stand up regularly 😭
That’s why this Uplift Desk is my favorite thing ever- they’re so customizable that I could pick a tabletop with a rounded cut-out for when I sit in my wheelchair. How cool is that!? 🤯
I didn’t even have to put the desk together because Uplift Desk already took into consideration.
Not everyone can physically put this desk together- that’s why they partnered with Task Rabbit to find you dedicated taskers to come and assemble the desk for you!

Everything shipped fast except for one item and customer service went ahead and sent a new shipment to replace it (probably got lost). Then I decided to exchange our bamboo desk tops to go for a bigger size. The legs fit any top so we could just reuse those and only had to replace the top which is nice. I was sent a quote for the bigger desk top sizes, paid, and recieved return labels for the originals (make sure you keep the original boxes for this). The new tops practically like everything else arrived quite fast. I returned some accessory items as well and got the free return labels emailed to me. Customer service was responsive for all my needs and were very helpful. As far as the standing desks themselves, they are nice and quiet. Love that there's a 15 year warranty too.Less

The site was easy to use. I got a bunch of freebies (some useful, some not), and shipping was very fast. My only minor gripe is some glue or milky sealant on the edge of the desk. The desk works perfectly and is not hard to put together at all. Over all I would recommend this company.Less

100% happy with my purchase! I have arthritis and get really stiff joints sitting in a chair all day. Delivery was exactly as expected and everything was well packaged and organized. Setup was very easy to follow and other than flipping the desk, could all be done by one person. Quality is excellent; I chose the white laminate top and I love how clean it looks. Highly recommend getting a motion board and floor mat, I use them daily. Wheels have also come in really handy when I need to access the outlets. Only regret is not ordering a small drawer or one or the organizer accessories, as the top of the desk is so pretty and I don’t want to clutter it up. 10/10 would recommend and I have told all my work from home coworkers the same.Less
