My heart is literally broken thinking of those affected by the Southern California wildfires. As we begin to try to process this tragedy, let’s discuss how we can protect our children from smoke inhalation in the coming days. We are in the middle of cold/ flu season and this makes matters much more complex, especially for our younger patients and asthmatics. Here are my recommendations and I am happy to answer any further questions that you may have. Please let me know how I can support you in any way possible. -Stay indoors -Close all windows and doors -Use air purifiers if accessible -Nasal rinses with saline can be helpful -Use a KN95 or N95 when outdoors Sending you all the strength in the world. United we are stronger and love is always the answer.
