🧨Brûléed chocolate strawberries 🍓THESE ARE SO GOOD!

🍓Recipe🍫
Step 1- set up a double boiler (a metal saucepan with a metal bowl on top) with a couple inches of water. Bring the water to a boil and then reduce to medium heat or just enough so that it’s steaming but not vigorously boiling.
Step 2- stir in 3/4 of your chocolate and using a rubber spatula, carefully jostle them from time to time until melted. Once fully melted stir in the remaining 1/4 of chocolate, turn off the heat and fold the mixture until the new chocolate has melted.
Step 3- using a skewer or fork, pierce the green tops just enough so that you can spin the strawberries with your hands. Gently peel the green tops back towards you so you can avoid them when dipping. While the chocolate is still hot, you can dip the strawberries in but I like to use the side of the bowl and spin it until it creates ridges to improve texture after brûlée and give the garnishes more places to fit into. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
Step 4- using a blowtorch, gently brûlée the chocolate side of the strawberries for a couple seconds or until black lines appear on top of the ridges of the chocolate

Customer service on location has always been top notch from my experience. They have an alright variety of items, although they do tend to lean more fluffy and vanilla than I'm looking for a lot of the time. Would have 5 stars but the prices on the majority of items are at a steep markup compared even to other brick and mortar stores. I've soothed the sticker shock by telling myself it's a convenience fee for not planning ahead enough to find those items elsewhere first.Less
