But one 4th of July, Riggins’ family noticed that rather than hiding from the fireworks, he ran towards them. Is it possible that Riggins had a greater calling as a duck dog? To find out, Riggins and his non-hunting owner Ben set out on an adventure into the unknown.

Day two of our annual Rooster Road Trip found us putting eyes on a fresh horizon in western North Dakota as we linked up with North Dakota Game and Fish Department’s Upland Game Management Supervisor to focus on PLOTS properties while getting educated on all things upland birds.
Private Land Open To Sportsmen, better known as PLOTS, is a component of the North Dakota Game and Fish Department’s Private Land Initiative and represents more than 830,000 acres open to walk-in hunting access on private land. Since more than 93 percent of land in North Dakota is held in private ownership, working with landowners to manage wildlife, habitat, and access is incredibly important.

The quality of the products is top notch and frankly one of my favorite stores. The biggest issue was when ordering flies, pay attention to the colors when changing sizes since it reverts to the default. I also did not receive everything all at once but at least Orvis was great at notifying me of the issue and then updating with the status of the delayed items.Less
