To celebrate Lunar New Year, I made Pork and Chive Dumplings 🥟 in the @surlatable wok and served them on the Lunar New Year dinnerware. 🐍 Delicious as is or dipped in a little chili oil. Comment DUMPLING and I’ll DM the recipe, or use the link in profile. Dumpling Skirt: 1/2 cup water 2 1/2 teaspoons flour Pinch of salt How to Pan-Fry: 1 Turn the pan to medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of neutral oil. 2. Arrange dumplings in an even layer and cook, uncovered, for 2-3 minutes to allow the dumplings to begin browning. 3. Slowly pour the slurry around the outer edge of the dumplings. Cover pan with lid. 4. Cook for 5-7 minutes. The dumpling skins should look translucent, the skirt should look dry and start to brown on the edges. Remove lid. 4. Adjust the position of the wok over the burner to help the dumpling skirt brown evenly all around. 5. Slide onto a plate and serve.
