Ham on your Easter menu?
This Smoked Shredded BBQ Glazed Ham from @grillin_with_dad takes this classic dish to the next level 🔥
Recipe:
1. Season the ham with all-purpose rub and smoke on the Weber Searwood at 225°F until it reaches 160°F internal.
2. Place ham in a foil pan on a wire rack, add apple or orange juice, wrap tightly in foil, and place back on the Weber Searwood until it’s probe tender.
3. Remove the foil and glaze the ham with a mix of BBQ sauce, butter, brown sugar, and honey. Cook for a few minutes to let the sauce set then remove and let rest for 30 minutes.
4. Shred the ham and enjoy!

Marry Me Chicken Hot Pocket 💍

Makes 2 King Size Hot Pockets
Ingredients:
3 Chicken Breast
4 Sheets Puff Pastry
1 oz Bbq Rub
2 Tbsp Butter
1/4 Chopped Onion
4 Garlic Cloves
1/4 Chopped Sun Dried Tomatoes
1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
1 Lemon
1 Cup Alfredo Sauce (or Heavy Cream)
2 Tbsp Paprika
1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
1/4 Cup Parmesan
1/4 Bunch Chopped Parsley
4 slices of Colby Jack Cheese
2 Eggs
How to:
1. Season your Chicken with your favorite BBQ Rub and in the Weber Searwood at 350 degrees until the internal temperature reaches 155 degrees. (Undercook since it will continue to cook in Hot Pocket)
2. In a skillet on medium heat add butter and onions and sauté until soft then add in garlic and sauté until fragrant
3. Then add Sun Dried Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Lemon Zest and the juice of the Lemon, Alfredo Sauce, Paprika, Red Pepper Flakes, Italian Seasoning, Parmesan, and chopped Parsley (Sauté until creamy and well incorporated)
4. Turn off the heat and let cool for 30 minutes
5. Lay out Sheet of Puff Pastry and add in the Marry Me filling topped with Colby Jack Cheese. Then topped with another layer of Puff Pastry sheet. (Lattice sheet on top is optional)
6. Use an egg wash and top with Pork Grinds and Parmesan for an added flavor and texture
7. Set the Weber Searwood to 400 degrees and cook for about 30 minutes until the Puff Pastry is golden brown and flaky

Smoked Honey Mustard Glazed Ham

Sticky on the outside, juicy on the inside—this smoked glazed ham is a must-try.
For the Ham
🔸 1 (10 lb) Spiral Ham
🔸 2 cups Honey
🔸 1 cup Butter
🔸 6 tbsp Dijon Mustard
Coat the ham with the honey, butter, and mustard mixture, making sure to get between all the slices. Place it in the Weber Searwood smoker at 325°F for about 2 hours, uncovered.
For the Glaze
🔸 2 cups Pineapple Juice
🔸 2 tbsp Grainy Mustard
🔸 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
🔸 2 tbsp Honey
🔸 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
Add everything to a saucepan and simmer until it reduces by half and starts to thicken. Once the ham is done smoking, brush on the glaze and pop it back in for another 15 minutes to caramelize. Let it rest, then hit it with a second round of glaze—and don’t sleep on those pan drippings. You can turn them into a killer finishing sauce.
